May 2026 Balance Changes: Cannon Cart and Goblin Cage Meta Adjustments
Updated 2026-05-10· Patch Season 83Balance, Defenses
Season 83 kicked off on May 3, 2026, with sweeping adjustments to defensive building-troop dual cards. Cannon Cart's shield duration is normalized, and Goblin Cage receives a buff.
Cannon Cart Shield Scaling
Cannon Cart gains a temporary 0.15s invincibility state while transitioning from shield to a stationary building, preventing instant overflow defeats.
This brief invincibility completely saves the card. In high-level play, users are developing decks centered around Cannon Cart, as it no longer gets vaporized instantly by high-damage hits, letting you counter-attack cleanly.
Goblin Cage Output Increase
The Brawler’s punch damage has been boosted by +4%, enabling him to counter-push and clear high-HP attackers like Dark Prince in 3 hits.
